Despite putting 27 shots on net Thursday night, the Colorado Avalanche couldn't get one past Minnesota goaltender Niklas Backstrom and were defeated by the Wild, 1-0.
Devin Setoguchi scored the Wild's lone goal at 17:29 of the third period.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere, in his fifth start with the Avalanche, stopped 17 of 18 shots, and is now 3-2-0 on the season.
The Avalanche return home for an eight-game homestand that will begin tomorrow night against the Dallas Stars. It will be the longest continuous homestand in Avalanche history.
