2012-13: Began his first professional season with the Denver Cutthroats (CHL), where he tallied 15 points (6g/9a) in 30 games…Had a 10-day stint with Lake Erie from Nov. 6-16…Recalled again by the Monsters on Jan. 8, Lauridsen spent the rest of the season in the AHL…Recorded 12 assists in 36 games with the Monsters…Signed with the Avalanche as a free agent on March 22…Following the season, Lauridsen played in all seven games for Denmark at the 2013 IIHF World Championship (0g/1a).

2011-12: Helped the Green Bay Gamblers (USHL) to the Clark Cup championship, tallying four points (3g/1a) with a +10 rating in 11 playoff games…Ranked third among team blueliners with 30 points (6g/24a) and was +32 in 58 games during the regular season.

2010-11:
Appeared in 44 games as a rookie with Green Bay (USHL)…Helped Denmark to a gold medal at the IIHF World Junior Championship (Division 1).

Other: Prior to joining Green Bay, Lauridsen played in Sweden for Linkoping J20 and J18 teams.

Personal: Markus’ brother, Oliver, was drafted by Philadelphia and made his NHL debut with the Flyers in 2012-13.
