2008-09 SEASON
- Was recalled from Lake Erie (AHL) on Dec. 5 and played in 53 games for the Avalanche in his first NHL season.
- Was Colorado's top rookie scorer with 11 goals and 19 points.
- Became only the third rookie in Avalanche history to record at least 10 goals and 50 penalty minutes, joining Chris Drury (1998-99) and Marek Svatos (2005-06).
- Tied Cody McCormick for third on the Avalanche with eight fighting majors.
- Made his NHL debut on Dec. 5 at Dallas.
- Recorded his first NHL goal and assist on Dec. 9 vs. Los Angeles.
- Stewart's goal came on a short-handed breakaway in the second period.
- Notched his first career "Gordie Howe Hat Trick" on Jan. 21 vs. Los Angeles.
- Did not dress on March 12 vs. Minnesota after playing 42 consecutive games following his Dec. 5 recall.
- Left in the second period on March 19 vs. Edmonton (head). Missed three games, March 22-27.
- Finished with 11 points (5g/6a) in 19 games with the Lake Erie Monsters.
