2009-10: Skated in 33 games with Springfield (AHL), collecting 17 points (5g/12a)…Also appeared in six regular season games and two playoff contests with HC Lugano of the National League A in Switzerland.
2008-09: Began the season with the Pittsburgh Penguins, registering three points (2g/1a) in 16 games…Dressed in 39 contests for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL), collecting eight goals and 10 assists for 18 points.
2007-08: Skated in 75 games for San Antonio (AHL) and seven for the Phoenix Coyotes…Paced the Rampage in goals (24) and ranked second in points (52)…Also ranked second on the team in short-handed goals (3), was third in plus/minus (+15) and tied for fourth in assists…Went on to record three points (1g/2a) in seven postseason games for the Rampage.
2006-07: Appeared in 24 games for the Phoenix Coyotes, earning 14 points (8g/6a)…Tied Shane Doan for the team lead with six goals in March, which included his first career multi-goal game on March 1 at Vancouver…Thomas’ 11 points in March finished second to Doan’s 12…Made his AHL debut with the San Antonio Rampage, collecting 33 points (13g/20a) and 20 penalty minutes in 47 games.
2005-06: Was a CCHA First-Team All Star and led Nebraska-Omaha to its first-ever NCAA tournament appearance as a sophomore…Led the Mavericks in goals (27) and finished second in points (50) while appearing in all 41 games…Signed with Phoenix as a free agent following the NCAA season on March 27, 2006…Made his NHL and professional debut with the Coyotes on March 28 vs. Nashville…Picked up his first NHL point with an assist on April 1 at San Jose…Scored his first career NHL goal on April 8 against Dallas…Finished with three points (1g/2a) in nine games with Phoenix.
