- Missed the final 33 games of the season after suffering a shoulder injury on his first shift of the night on Jan. 29 vs. Toronto.
- Underwent season-ending surgery on Feb. 18.
- Placed on Injured Reserve, Jan. 30 (retroactive to Jan. 29).
- Was recalled from Lake Erie (AHL) on four occasions throughout the season.
- Was selected to the AHL All-Star Game after recording 17 points (5g/12a) in 28 games for the Monsters.
- Tallied a goal, assist and was +6 for the Canadian All-Stars at the 2009 AHL All-Star Classic on Jan. 26 in Worcester, Mass.
