Finished the season tied for seventh in the NHL with five shutouts and tied for 15th with 29 victories…Established career highs in wins (29), shutouts (5) and games played (55)…Named the NHL’s First Star of the Week for the periods ending Jan. 25 and March 29, and earned Second Star of the Week honors for the period ending Feb. 1…Recorded the first consecutive shutout victories of his career on March 22 at Montreal and March 23 against Philadelphia…Fell 9:31 shy of equaling Patrick Lalime’s franchise-best shutout streak of 184:06 (streak ended March 26 at Buffalo)…Recorded his first career assist on April 3 at New York Islanders…Played his first NHL playoff game and recorded his first playoff win on April 14 at Pittsburgh. 2008-09: Recorded the first shutout of his career by making 20 saves on March 29 at Tampa Bay…Set Ottawa’s franchise record for a rookie goaltender by winning eight consecutive games from March 5-21…Was recalled on Jan. 9 and remained with the Senators for the duration of the season…Had an 18-8-1-2 record with a 2.31 goals-against average and .926 save percentage in 30 games with Binghamton (AHL). 2007-08: Made his NHL debut by turning aside 27 shots in a victory at Atlanta on Oct. 10…That victory over the Thrashers marked his lone NHL appearance of the season…Set professional career highs in games (44), wins (18), shutouts (2), goals-against average (2.81) and save percentage (.915) in his first full season with Binghamton…Earned his first professional shutout by stopping 37 shots a victory over Rochester on Feb. 22. 2006-07: Finished his career at Wisconsin with school records of 1.78 goals-against average, .931 save percentage and 16 shutouts…Elliott’s career numbers placed him sixth in GAA and tied for fourth in save percentage in NCAA history. 2005-06: Was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award…RBK/AHCA First Team West All-American…NCAA Midwest Regional Most Outstanding Player…Named to the Frozen Four All-Tournament Team…National leader with .814 win percentage (27-5-3), 1.55 GAA and .938 save percentage. 2004-05: Posted three shutouts to tie for third on Wisconsin’s single-season shutout list…Began the season with 164:37 shutout streak and back-to-back shutouts. 2003-04: Spent his freshman season at Wisconsin as the backup goaltender, appearing in six games with a 3-3-0 record and 2.14 GAA…Made his college hockey debut in a 4-1 win against Quinnipiac on Oct. 25…Named to the all-tournament team at the Badger Hockey Showdown.
