2011-12 SEASON
Appeared in 63 games for the New York Rangers, tallying 16 points (5g/11a) to go along with a +10 plus/minus rating…Began the season with New York’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Connecticut Whale, where he tallied 14 points (7g/7a) in 17 games…Was recalled by the Rangers on Nov. 24 and made his season debut the following night in Washington…Tied his career high with two assists and was +2 at the NHL Winter Classic on Jan. 2 at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park…Appeared in his 200th NHL game on Feb. 24 at NY Islanders.

2011-12 PLAYOFFS: Dressed in 18 of New York’s 20 playoff contests, posting one assist while winning 53.5% of his faceoffs (38-of-71)…Made his Stanley Cup Playoff debut in Game 1 of the ECQF against Ottawa on April 12…Collected his first career playoff point with an assist in Game 5 of the ECSF versus Washington on May 7.

CAREER
2010-11:
Began the season with the Toronto Maple Leafs, appearing in 23 games (2g/1a)…Was reassigned to the Toronto Marlies (AHL) on Feb. 10…Was traded from Toronto to the New York Rangers on Feb. 28 and finished the season with New York’s AHL affiliate in Connecticut…Ranked third on the Whale with a +8 rating following the trade…Tied for the team lead in playoff goals (three) and ranked second in playoff assists (three) in six postseason games with Connecticut.

2009-10: Dressed in 60 games for the Maple Leafs in his second NHL season, collecting 23 points (6g/17a)… Tallied his first career game-winning goal on March 10 at Ottawa…Recorded a career-high three-game assist streak from Oct. 26-30.

2008-09: Spent the entire year with the Maple Leafs, registering 29 points (12g/17a) in 76 games…Made his NHL debut in the season opener on Oct. 9 vs. Detroit…Recorded his first career point with an assist on Oct. 13 vs. St. Louis…Notched a career-high three points (2g/1a), including his first NHL goal, on Nov. 1 against the Rangers at the Air Canada Centre.

2007-08: Established AHL career bests in games played (79), goals (20), assists (31), points (51) and penalty minutes (56) with the Toronto Marlies…Led the team in goals and ranked second in points…Went on to appear in 19 playoff contests for the Marlies, pacing the team with eight postseason goals (8g/4a).

2006-07: Tied for fourth on the Marlies with 36 points (16g/20a) in 73 games…His 16 goals also ranked fourth on the squad.

2005-06: Appeared in 51 games for the Toronto Marlies in his first full AHL season…Registered his first professional point with a goal on Dec. 2 at Hamilton.

2004-05: Led the Plymouth Whalers in points (75), goals (25-tied) and assists (50) in his final OHL season…Made his AHL debut with the St. John’s Maple Leafs, appearing in two games.

2003-04: Led Plymouth in scoring with 82 points (28g/54a) in 65 games, tying him for ninth place in the OHL scoring race…Also led the Whalers in assists, 10th best in the league…Had a 14-game point streak from Jan. 1-31, registering 23 points (8g/15a) over the span.

2002-03: Ranked fourth on the Whalers with 55 points (18g/37a) in 68 regular season games…Went on to skate in 18 playoff contests where he tied for the team lead with 10 assists (2g/10a).

2001-02: Made his OHL debut with Plymouth, appearing in 62 games…Collected two assists in his OHL debut on Sept. 22 vs. Owen Sound… Also skated in six playoff contests.
