2005-06: Recorded career highs in goals (9), assists (6) and points (15) as a junior at Cornell University…Appeared in 34 of the Big Red’s 35 games…Tied for second in the ECACHL with two short-handed goals…Finished third on the team and tied for 10th in the conference with three game-winning goals…Scored GWG with 0:23 left in regulation on Dec. 3 vs. Quinnipiac and with 0:39 left in the third period on Feb. 4 at Colgate…Ranked third on the team in goals and seventh in points…Netted his first collegiate goal on Nov. 2 at Yale. 2004-05: Skated in 22 games as a sophomore at Cornell University…Tallied five assists and 12 penalty minutes. 2003-04: Played his first season at Cornell as a freshman in 2003-04, collecting four assists and 12 PIM. Other: Collected 49 points in 35 games with the New England Junior Coyotes (EJHL) in 2002-03…Named a second team EJHL All-Star…Participated in the Beantown Classic high school tournament…Skated in the EJHL Top Prospects Tournament/US National Team Development Program.
PERSONAL
His parents and sister, Kelly, are all Cornell graduates…His father, Brian, was a member of Cornell’s 1970 national championship team and was the squad’s captain as a senior…Brian was also the Big Red’s head coach from 1987 to 1995 and is presently an assistant coach for the Buffalo Sabres.
