- Became the 40th active player to reach that milestone, and the 14th current defenseman.
- Passed Michel Goulet (813) for the second-most games played in franchise history on Oct. 14 at Calgary.
- Was injured in the second period on Nov. 22 at Los Angeles and did not return (upper back / knee).
- Missed a total of nine games from Nov. 24-Dec. 9.
- Became the franchise leader in career assists by a defenseman (182) on Dec. 12 vs. Chicago.
- Missed 17 games after injuring his tricep muscle on Jan. 4 vs. Minnesota.
- Placed on IR, Jan. 6 (retroactive to Jan. 4) and activated on Feb. 15.
- Recorded a season-high two points (1g/1a, +4), including his first goal in 106 games, on Feb. 20 at Washington.
- Missed the final 14 games of the season after suffering a head injury on March 12 vs. Minnesota.
- Has appeared in more regular season (853) and playoff games (164) than any other defenseman in franchise history.
- Ranks as the second highest scoring defenseman in team history with 242 points (56g/186a).
