The Colorado Avalanche will wear its third jerseys on 14 occasions during the 2015-16 season (all at home).

The Avalanche initially unveiled the new sweater to the public on Oct. 9 and wore it for the first time on Oct. 24 against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The third jersey design is a collaboration of ideas from the Colorado Avalanche (including Kroenke Sports Enterprises Creative Imaging), the National Hockey League and Reebok. The third jersey has a predominantly navy color scheme and features the new 'C' logo in a throwback-style style crest on the front. Laces at the neckline, silver piping on the front and white shoulders accentuate the new sweater, which is a marriage between the identity of the state of Colorado and its proud history of hockey.

The new jersey will be accompanied by matching pants, gloves and helmets as well.
