Dusty HalsteadEquipment Manager - Lake Erie Monsters Dusty Halstead just completed his third season as the head equipment manager of the Lake Erie Monsters after being appointed to the position in January of 2010. Prior to beginning with the Monsters, Halstead spent 11 years with the Colorado Avalanche organization. Halstead began with the Avalanche during the 1999-2000 season, serving as a stick boy for the team. Starting with the 2005-06 campaign, Halstead began working in equipment transfer and was responsible for the pickup and delivery of the equipment for teams visiting Denver. While working in equipment transfer, Halstead also was an assistant equipment manager with the Avalanche, working with the team on a daily basis to help with equipment needs during games and practices. During his time in Denver, Halstead also acted as the head equipment manager for the NCAA West Regional tournament in 2007 and the Frozen Four in 2008 when both events were held at Pepsi Center. Halstead resides in Berea. |
