Each year, the Colorado Avalanche hosts its annual Charity Golf Classic at The Ridge at Castle Pines North in Castle Rock. The entire team including players, coaches and front office personnel participate in the event. The event gives fans and sponsors the unique opportunity to spend a day golfing with their favorite Avalanche personality while raising funds for a very worthy cause.
Colorado Avalanche Charity Brunch and Fashion Show
The Colorado Avalanche will host its annual Charity Brunch on March 7, 2010, at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center. The event includes a silent auction, brunch and a fashion show with Avalanche players and coaches escorting ambassadors from The Children's Hospital. Proceeds benefit The Children's Hospital, Teammates for Kids and Kroenke Sports Charities. More information will follow shortly.
The 2009 event was held on Feb. 8 at the Denver Marriott City Center.

2nd Annual Mile High Dreams Gala
On March 30th, 2009, Kroenke Sports Charities & Denver Active 20.30 proudly presented the 2nd Annual Mile High Dreams Gala, Hollywood Nights.
This year’s event featured athletes from four professional sports teams on the Pepsi Center arena floor, and was an evening that our guests will never forget.
The Gala was hosted by the players and coaches of the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Mammoth and Colorado Rapids.
Guests enjoyed “A night in the Golden Age of Hollywood” featuring themed music and food, dancing with the Stars, as well as the main attraction – gaming tables provided by Denver Poker Tour. The Gala also featured a silent auction that included extraordinary items from sports legends and entertainment personalities from all over the world.

The Children's Hospital Visit
Each December, the Avalanche visits The Children's Hospital in Aurora to bring holiday cheer to some very special children. The players distribute Avalanche teddy bears, sign autographs and spend time talking to the patients and their families. Last year's event marked the 12th straight year that the Avalanche has visited The Children's Hospital during the holiday season.
