Adam Deadmarsh
Player Development Coach

Former Avalanche forward Adam Deadmarsh completed his fourth season with the Avalanche front office.  He spent one season as an assistant coach in 2011-12 after spending the previous two years as the club’s video/development coach.

Deadmarsh, 37, enjoyed a nine-year stint in the NHL, appearing in 567 career games with the Quebec Nordiques/Colorado Avalanche and Los Angeles Kings.  He totaled 184 goals and 373 points with 819 penalty minutes. Quebec’s second selection (first round, 14th overall) in the 1993 Entry Draft, Deadmarsh was part of the Avalanche’s first Stanley Cup championship team in 1996, recording 17 points (5g/12a) in 22 postseason games.

Deadmarsh represented the United States at six international events, including the 1996 World Cup of Hockey and the 1998 and 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Adam and his wife, Christa, have twin daughters, Alexis and Madison (11).
