Several Avs look to claim hardware at league's annual postseason event

NHL Awards Party Set For Blake Street Tavern

Join mascot Bernie and the Avalanche Ice Girls at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, at Denver's Blake Street Tavern for the official Avalanche NHL Awards watch party.

Four members of the Avs are awards finalists. Semyon Varlamov is up for the Vezina Trophy (best goaltender), Nathan MacKinnon is up for the Calder Memorial Trophy (rookie of the year), Ryan O'Reilly is up for the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy (sportsmanship award) and Patrick Roy is up for the Jack Adams Award (coach of the year).

Colorado captain Gabriel Landeskog was the last Avalanche player to bring back hardware from the NHL Awards, after he won the Calder Trophy in 2012.

The show, live from Las Vegas, starts at 5 p.m., but beer specials and prizes will be raffled off by Bernie, the Ice Girls and Altitude TV talent beginning around 4:30 p.m at the Tavern (2301 Blake Street, Denver).

Also, be sure to arrive early for a chance to win signed merchandise.
