DU Jr. Pioneers Win Colorado Avalanche Quebec Qualifier Tournament at Pepsi Center
The Quebec International Pee Wee Hockey Tournament is known as the largest and most prestigious Pee Wee tournament in the world. It hosts 110 teams of 11-12 year-old hockey players from over 16 countries each year.
This is the 10th year that the Colorado Avalanche has selected a Pee Wee representative, and the first time that DU has earned the title. In 10 years of sending a team to Quebec, six different Colorado youth hockey associations have represented the Avalanche.
