Jones\' Goal Named Play Of The Year
After six weeks of voting, forward David Jones' overtime goal from April 10 against the Edmonton Oilers was named the Avalanche's "Play of the Year" for the 2010-11 season.

In the final round, Jones beat out another one of his goals (an overtime winner on Jan. 4 against Buffalo) to earn the title.

He had previously topped plays by Philippe Dupuis, Matt Duchene (twice) and himself (a tally on Oct. 12 against Detroit) en route to the finals.

#1 Jones Caps Things Off – 4/10 vs. Edmonton
David Jones closed out the Avalanche’s season and sent captain Adam Foote out as a winner when he netted an overtime goal against Edmonton.
