ColoradoAvalanche.com is again asking for your help in determining the Avalanche's "Play of the Week" each week during the regular season. At the end of the year, a bracket-style tournament will be held to determine, via fan voting, the Avalanche's "Play of the Year."
Milan Hejduk, John-Michael Liles and David Jones are this week's nominees.
Voting ends on Monday, Jan. 24 at 3:00 p.m. MT, so be sure to cast your ballot today!
Hejduk Picks The Corner – 1/14 vs. Minnesota
The Avalanche was already up on the Wild, 1-0, when Milan Hejduk doubled that lead following a nice little give-and-go with Paul Stastny. While the Avs were on a power play, Hejduk took the return pass from Stastny and put a quick, well-placed wrist shot past Minnesota netminder Anton Khudobin for the eventual game-winning goal.

Liles Connects – 1/18 vs. Vancouver
John-Michael Liles scored one of the Avalanche’s three power-play goals during a 4-3 overtime victory against Vancouver. After receiving a cross-ice pass from Milan Hejduk, Liles fired a wrist shot from the right circle that eluded Canucks netminder Roberto Luongo.

Jones’ Second OT Winner – 1/18 vs. Vancouver
David Jones netted his second overtime winner in the month of January to lead the Avs to a 4-3 win over the Canucks. With just over two minutes remaining in the extra session, Jones lunged after a Tomas Fleischmann centering feed and got off a shot that ended up being the decisive goal.
