Friday\'s Practice Report
After a particularly physical contest on Thursday night against the Vancouver Canucks, several members of the Colorado Avalanche took “maintenance days” on Friday morning.

The list of players who took treatment today instead of skating included forwards Matt Duchene, Chris Stewart, Ryan O’Reilly and David Jones.

“I expect them all to be in the lineup tomorrow night,” said Avalanche head coach Joe Sacco.

Sacco also noted that there was nothing new to report on the other injured members of his team, namely captain Adam Foote and forward Peter Mueller, both of whom are currently sidelined with head injuries.

Anderson Tests Out Knee Again
Injured Avalanche goalie Craig Anderson skated briefly again on Friday morning. Anderson, who injured his knee in pre-game warm-ups on Oct. 26 in Vancouver, was on the ice half an hour before his teammates practiced. The netminder did a few laps on his own while wearing only a helmet and an Avalanche track suit.

There is still no firm date set for his return, but after practice Sacco estimated that he is probably still a week or two away.

Sacco did confirm that Peter Budaj will make his fifth consecutive start on Saturday when the Dallas Stars come to Pepsi Center.  Budaj has played 14 times against Dallas during his career and has posted a 4-2-4 record with a 2.54 goals-against average.

In his five starts this season, Budaj is 3-1-1 with a 3.36 goals-against average.
