Colorado To Host Defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago On Oct. 7

The complete 2010-11 National Hockey League schedule won’t be announced until Tuesday morning, but we can tell you that the Colorado Avalanche will open the season on Thursday, Oct. 7, by hosting the defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks at Pepsi Center.
