Avs\' Play of the Week: March 26-April 1
Cast your vote today to help decide the Avalanche's "Play of the Week" for the March 26-April 1 timeframe.

Goals by Kevin Porter and Peter Mueller are nominated this time around, along with a save by Craig Anderson.

Voting ends on Monday, April 5 at 3:00 p.m. MT, so be sure to cast your ballot today!

Porter’s First Avalanche Goal – 3/27 @ Phoenix
The Avs were short-handed against Phoenix when Kevin Porter collected the rebound of a shot by defenseman Kyle Quincey. From there, the young forward looped around to the top of the right faceoff circle and threw a shot on net that beat Ilya Bryzgalov. The short-handed tally was Porter’s first goal as a member of the Avalanche.

Anderson Denies Heatley – 3/28 @ San Jose
Goaltender Craig Anderson made several big saves on Dany Heatley in the Avs’ contest against the Sharks, but none bigger than this one. After a battle for the puck in the front of benches, Heatley somehow came away with it and streaked toward the Avalanche goal. After making a move around defenseman Kyle Quincey, Heatley fired a quick, low shot that Anderson turned aside.

Duchene To Mueller – 3/28 @ San Jose
With the Avalanche holding a man-advantage, Chris Stewart worked his way behind the net before handing the puck off to Matt Duchene. After the rookie made a move to elude a San Jose defender, he walked toward the net and found a cutting Peter Mueller for a power-play tally.
