Cumiskey Placed On IR, Preissing On Waivers

The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that the team has activated defenseman Adam Foote and forward Matt Hendricks from the injured reserve list. Both players will be available for tonight’s game against the Minnesota Wild at Pepsi Center (7:00 p.m., Altitude TV).
Foote (jaw) has missed the last five games after suffering the injury on Nov. 17 at Calgary. He was placed on IR, Nov. 27 (retroactive to Nov. 17). The Avalanche captain has tallied three points (0g/3a) with a +6 plus/minus rating in 21 games this season.
Hendricks has missed the last six games due to a groin injury. He was placed on IR, Nov. 19 (retroactive to Nov. 14). Hendricks has two goals in 15 games this year.
The Avalanche also announced today that the club has placed defenseman Kyle Cumiskey (foot) on IR (retroactive to Nov. 23) and placed defenseman Tom Preissing on waivers.
