Hendricks Activated From IR

Durno Reassigned To Lake Erie

The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that the team has activated forward Matt Hendricks from the injured reserve list.  Hendricks will be available for tonight’s game against the Chicago Blackhawks at Pepsi Center (7:00 p.m., Altitude TV, KKHI 101.9 FM).

Hendricks has missed the last five games due to a groin injury suffered on Oct. 24 vs. Detroit.  He has appeared in 11 games for Colorado this season, tallying a goal and nine penalty minutes.

The Avalanche also announced today that the team has reassigned forward Chris Durno to the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League.  On Thursday (Nov. 5), the club reassigned forward Brian Willsie to Lake Erie and also sent defenseman Tom Preissing to Lake Erie on a conditioning assignment.
