Avs Are Only NHL Team To Have 100% Participation Two Years In A Row

Charlotte Grahame of the Colorado Avalanche accepted a grant of $42,000 from Garth Brooks on behalf of his charity, Teammates for Kids Foundation, to Kroenke Sports Charities.
The grant represented 100% participation by the 2008-09 Colorado Avalanche players and coaches in the Foundation. The Avalanche is the only team in the National Hockey League which has had 100% participation for two consecutive years.
