Altitude Announces Broadcast Schedule

Coverage of 79 Games Begins October 3

Altitude announced today that it will broadcast 79 Colorado Avalanche regular season games this year.  In addition to Altitude’s standard definition coverage, all Avalanche games that air on the network will be shown in high definition format with 5.1-channel surround sound.  Game coverage begins on October 3 with the Colorado Avalanche vs. the Vancouver Canucks.  Altitude is proud to air all of its Colorado Avalanche regular season contests in HD this year.

Mike Haynes and Peter McNab will return as the play-by-play and color analysts for all of the Colorado Avalanche broadcasts.  Kyle Keefe will return as sideline reporter for all Avalanche home games and will serve as studio host along with Peter Ruttgaizer.  Brian Engblom and Mark Rycroft will be the postgame color analysts for the Avalanche Locker Room Report and Julie Browman will contribute regular reports throughout the Avalanche season.  On the radio side, Marc Moser will be the play-by-play analyst for all games this season and Norm Jones will be the studio analyst and reporter.

Altitude will utilize its second channel, ALT2, for 10 Avalanche games this season, all of which are denoted on the schedule below.  All ALT2 games will also be available in high definition.

Fans can get prepared for the 2009-10 season with The Avalanche Experience, which debuts on Monday, August 24 and will rebroadcast several times through the end of September. In addition, Altitude’s weekly show Avalanche All Access returns this season on September 28 and will air on Mondays at 6:00 p.m.  Avalanche All Access is a thirty-minute program dedicated to going behind the scenes with the Colorado Avalanche and providing highlights of the team both on and off the ice. The show is hosted by Kyle Keefe with regular reports by Julie Browman and Peter Ruttgaizer.

Altitude will broadcast a one-hour live pregame special on Thursday October 1st from 7:00-8:00 p.m. that will cover Joe Sakic’s retirement ceremony.  The complete Avalanche Altitude game broadcast schedule is below.  For more information, please visit www.altitude.tv.
