MATCH-UP 1: #1 Wojtek Wolski vs. #29 Peter Budaj
The top overall seed in the tournament is still alive and kicking, but will have to beat out a Budaj save to make it to the finals.

Wolski Bests Backstrom - 3/12 vs. Minnesota (65.97% in Week 22)
Wojtek Wolski continued his shootout magic, netting the game-winner in the Avs’ 2-1 victory over the Wild. Wolski baited Niklas Backstrom out of the net and actually faked two shots before sailing an attempt over the Minnesota netminder.

Budaj’s Breakaway Stop – 3/14 @ Edmonton (36.86% in Week 23)
Edmonton’s Ales Hemsky found himself in a one-on-one battle with Peter Budaj after receiving a long outlet feed from Denis Grebeshkov. However, Budaj was up to the test, stretching out his right pad to stop the Oiler forward on a breakaway attempt.

MATCH-UP 2: #22 Ian Laperriere vs. # 2 Peter Budaj
Lappy has received a large amount of fan support through the first three rounds, but will it be enough for his body check to take down the second overall seed?

Lappy Runs Over Downey – 3/4 vs. Detroit (42.46% in Week 21)
Midway through the first period, Avalanche assistant captain Ian Laperriere threw a big hit on Detroit’s Aaron Downey. While Downey had his head down looking for the puck along the side wall, Laperriere charged in and laid out a clean, hard hit.

Budaj Robs H. Sedin – 11/12 at Vancouver (62.96% in Week 5)
The Sedin twins teamed up in an attempt to foil Peter Budaj, but the goaltender was up to the task. Daniel made a feed to an open Henrik, who was stationed to Budaj’s left with a seemingly open net. Budaj quickly moved side-to-side and robbed the Canucks of a goal by getting a glove on Henrik’s attempt.
