Galiardi Nets Play of the Week Honors
Rookie forward T.J. Galiardi's first career NHL goal was named the Avalanche's "Play of the Week" for the March 27-April 2 timeframe. The tally, which came on March 27 against Vancouver, earned 49.38% of fan voting.

Galiardi's goal topped John-Michael Liles' marker on March 29 in Anaheim (26.17%) and Andrew Raycroft's save of a Matthew Lombardi shot on April 1 (24.44%).

The play now automatically qualifies for Colorado’s year-end “Play of the Year” bracket-style tournament – to be determined by Avalanche fans.

Be sure to check back each Friday during the season, as three new choices for the Avalanche’s “Play of the Week” will be posted for you to vote upon.

Galiardi’s First Goal – 3/27 vs. Vancouver
T.J. Galiardi potted his first career NHL goal against the Vancouver Canucks. From behind the Vancouver net, Ian Laperriere made a feed into the slot to Galiardi. The rookie forward buried a shot that beat Canucks netminder Jason LaBarbera high to his glove side at the 13:25 mark of the opening period.
