Veteran Forward Gains Over 40% of Fan Voting

Veteran forward Milan Hejduk took home another "Play of the Week" honor, gaining 40.32% of fan voting for his tally on March 25 versus Anaheim.
Hejduk's goal topped markers from Scott Hannan (30.77%) and Cody McLeod (28.91%) in this week's voting.
The play now automatically qualifies for Colorado’s year-end “Play of the Year” bracket-style tournament – to be determined by Avalanche fans.

Hejduk Snaps It In – 3/25 vs. Anaheim
With the Avalanche on a power play, Milan Hejduk deposited a shot past Anaheim netminder Jonas Hiller from the top of the left faceoff circle. The goal was Hejduk’s 26th of the season, tying him with Ryan Smyth for the team lead.
