Wojtek Wolski's shootout winner on March 12 against the Minnesota Wild has been named the Avalanche's Play of the Week for the March 6-12 timeframe. The tally received 65.97% of the vote, marking the highest percentage earned by any single play this year.

Also nominated this week were Marek Svatos' goal against Chicago on March 8 (24.22%) and Tyler Arnason's setup of a Chris Stewart tally in that same contest (9.81%).

The play now automatically qualifies for Colorado’s year-end “Play of the Year” bracket-style tournament – to be determined by Avalanche fans.

Be sure to check back each Friday during the season, as three new choices for the Avalanche’s “Play of the Week” will be posted for you to vote upon.

Wolski Bests Backstrom - 3/12 vs. Minnesota
Wojtek Wolski continued his shootout magic, netting the game-winner in the Avs’ 2-1 victory over the Wild. Wolski baited Niklas Backstrom out of the net and actually faked two shots before sailing an attempt over the Minnesota netminder.
