Brett Clark's overtime winner on Dec. 23 against Phoenix took home Avalanche "Play of the Week" honors for the Dec. 19-25 time period. The goal, scored on Clark's 32nd birthday, received 56.52% of fan voting.

Clark beat out tallies from Milan Hejduk (27.47%) and John-Michael Liles (16.01%) in that same game.

The play now automatically qualifies for Colorado’s year-end “Play of the Year” bracket-style tournament – to be determined by Avalanche fans.

Be sure to check back each Friday during the season, as three new choices for the Avalanche’s “Play of the Week” will be posted for you to vote upon.

Clark's OT Winner - 12/23 vs. Phoenix
Defenseman Brett Clark celebrated his 32nd birthday in style by scoring the overtime winner against Phoenix. Clark received the puck at the point and faked a shot before moving around a Coyotes defender and putting a blast over Bryzgalov’s right shoulder to give Colorado its fifth win in the club’s last six games at Pepsi Center.
