Theo Robs Lidstrom
Jose Theodore made this big stop on Nicklas Lidstrom 3:43 into the first period. Lidstrom took a cross-ice feed from Pavel Datsyuk and fired a shot on goal, but Theodore got in front of the defenseman’s attempt.

Budaj Comes Up Big
Peter Budaj made 19 stops after relieving Jose Theodore, including this save on Niklas Kronwall. The defenseman was on the receiving end of a give-and-go, but his slap shot from the slot was stopped by Budaj.

Lappy Gets One
Ian Laperriere notched his third career playoff goal – Colorado’s only tally of the night – off a feed from Cody McCormick 2:38 into the third period. McCormick tipped the puck toward the front of the Detroit goal, where Laperriere knocked it past Chris Osgood.
