Avalanche Reassigns Jeff Finger To Albany

DENVER - The Colorado Avalanche announced Tuesday that defenseman Jeff Finger will conclude the 2006-07 season with the club's American Hockey League affiliate in Albany, NY. The River Rats have three games remaining in their regular season schedule.

Finger, 27, was recalled from Albany on February 17 prior to playing his first career NHL game on February 20 vs. Calgary. He appeared in 22 games with the Avalanche this season, tallying five points (1g/4a) while finishing tied for second in plus/minus with a +10 rating. He recorded his first career NHL goal and was +4 on March 1 at Chicago.
