The winner of the drawing, which took place this past Friday (March 24), was announced during the first intermission of tonight's game against the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. Linda Higdon of Broomfield, Colo., was the eighth prize winner and was awarded 10 free round-trip flights on Frontier Airlines. Linda registered for the contest online at www.coloradoavalanche.com.

The winner was randomly chosen from a computer database of nearly 200,000 entries and witnessed by NHL security official Sam Singleton.

The Avalanche's 10th Season Sweepstakes offers fans the chance to win one of 10 prizes throughout the year, including exclusive team experiences, vacations and a new home courtesy of Amber Homes. Fans can still enter to win one of seven remaining prizes. Fans will be automatically enrolled by purchasing Avalanche tickets via the internet(www.coloradoavalanche.com) or through Ticketmaster (303-830-TIXS or www.ticketmaster.com).
