The goal capped a spurt of three goals in 1:15 of the second period. Dallas' Stephane Robidas scored at 8:37 with assists from Niko Kapanen and Bill Guerin. Robidas finished with a goal and two assists, and Kapanen had a goal and an assist.

Robidas' goal gave Dallas a 2-1 lead, but Brunette tied it 28 seconds later. Jason Krog scored Colorado's third goal of the period on a power play at 15:40.

Stars rookie Jussi Jokinen scored his fifth goal of the preseason with 2:54 left in the game to draw Dallas within one.

Turgeon's first goal came on the power play at 17:10 in the first period with assists from Sakic and Brunette.

Jere Lehtinen (groin), Jason Arnott (groin) and Brenden Morrow (foot) were scratches for the Stars. All three are questionable for the team's opener Wednesday against Los Angeles.
