Avalanche Sets Single-Game Ticket Sales Record
The Colorado Avalanche on Sept. 17 recorded the highest single-game sales total in the history of the franchise.

Individual tickets for the 2005-06 season went on sale beginning at 10am and in less than two hours, sales had surpassed previous highs. Avalanche fans have four ways to purchase tickets including online at, ticketmaster phone lines, Pepsi Center box office and individual ticketmaster outlets. Approximately 92 percent of all ticket sales were purchased via internet.

"Despite today's record sales activity, there are still good seats that remain for a number of individual games including several family night dates," said Paul Andrews, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Kroenke Sports Enterprises. "In addition, approximately 400 season tickets remain as well as some 14-game packages.

"It's just another example of the dedication and passion of the greatest hockey fans in the league who reside here in Colorado."
