2013-14: Spent most of the season with Lake Erie (AHL) but also saw his first NHL action with the Avalanche…Made his NHL debut on Jan. 11 at Minnesota after being recalled for the first time in his career a day earlier…Finished the game with one shot and a +1 plus/minus rating in 10:55 of ice time…Reassigned to Lake Erie on Jan. 12…Recalled again on Jan. 15 and played one more game with Colorado before being reassigned for the remainder of the seaon on Jan. 20…Finished second among Lake Erie defensemen with 30 points (7g/23a) in 68 games…His 23 assists led the Monsters defense.
