2012-13: Led the Kamloops Blazers and finished tied for fourth in the Western Hockey League with 106 points (41g/65a) in 72 games…Was named to the WHL Western Conference First All-Star Team…Smith, who was the only Kamloops player to appear in every regular season game, also led the club in goals and shared the team lead in both assists and power-play goals (14)…Was the first Blazer to eclipse the 100-point plateau in 10 years (Erik Christensen 2002-03)…Ranked among the league’s top 10 players in assists (tie-3rd), goals (tie-9th), PP goals (tie-8th) and PP assists (2nd, 31)…Finished fourth on the Blazers in plus/minus with a +33 rating…Was named WHL Player of the Week on three occasions, Oct. 15-21, Nov. 12-18 and Jan. 28 to Feb. 3, the latter of which he was also honored as the Canadian Hockey League’s Player of the Week…Added 14 points (2g/12a) in 12 playoff contests, tied for third-best on the squad…Missed three games in the second round series against Kelowna due to injury.
