2011-12 SEASON

Jan and his wife, Tereza, have two children, daughter Natalie and son Matheas…Spends his summers in the Czech Republic…Volunteered at the giveSPORTS equipment drive on Sept. 8, 2012 at Pepsi Center, which helped collect 25,000 new and gently used sports equipment, $11,000 in cash donations and $30,000 in scholarship funds…The equipment drive benefitted “A Precious Child” and the “Jessica Ghawi Scholarship Fund”…Participated in the Avalanche’s Player Clinics and Team Fit program during his first season with Colorado…Name is pronounced YAHN HAY-dah.
