Traded to NY Rangers by Colorado with Chris McAllister and Florida's 2nd round choice (previously acquired, later traded back to Florida Florida selected David Shantz) in 2004 Entry Draft for Matthew Barnaby and NY Rangers' 3rd round choice (Denis Parshin) in 2004 Entry Draft, March 8, 2004. Missed majority of 2007-08 due to post-concussion syndrome. Signed as a free agent by New Jersey, September 29, 2009. Signed as a free agent by Colorado, July 2, 2010. Missed majority of 2010-11 due to upper-body injury vs. Houston (AHL), December 12, 2010. Signed as a free agent by Milano (Italy), September 11, 2012.
Served as team captain of the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL) but appeared in only 18 games before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury on Dec. 12 vs. Houston…Also played four games with the Avalanche, tallying one goal with a +3 plus/minus rating and 17 penalty minutes…Was recalled by Colorado on Oct. 22… Made his Avalanche debut on Oct. 28 at Calgary, recording a fight and a +1 plus/minus rating in 3:43 of ice time…It marked his first NHL game since March 17, 2007 against Boston as a member of the New York Rangers…Scored his first NHL goal on Oct. 30 vs. Columbus…Finished with four points (1g/3a) and 57 PIM with the Monsters.
2009-10: Spent the season with the Syracuse Crunch (AHL), where he collected 20 points (5g/15a) and 118 penalty minutes in 72 games.
2008-09: Played for Esbjerg EfB Ishockey in Denmark, tallying five points (1g/4a) in 16 contests.
2007-08: Missed the majority of the season recovering from post-concussion symptoms…Skated in 21 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL) and notched two assists.
2006-07: Spent most of the campaign with Hartford, but also appeared in two NHL games with the New York Rangers…Totaled 13 points (2g/11a) in 72 games with the Wolf Pack and ranked fourth on the team with 189 penalty minutes… Added two points (1g/1a) in seven AHL postseason contests.
2005-06: Skated in 58 games with Hartford, but also made his NHL debut with the New York Rangers…Notched 14 points (4g/10a) with Hartford and ranked second on the team with 169 penalty minutes…Saw his first NHL action, appearing in one game with the Rangers (April 11 vs. NY Islanders).
2004-05: Split his first professional season between Hartford and the Charlotte Checkers (ECHL)…Totaled one assist and 74 penalty minutes in 33 games with Hartford…Appeared in 16 games with Charlotte and recorded two assists…Netted five points (1g/4a) in 15 playoff contests with the Checkers.
