Break The Ice Clinic
As part of the Hockey Fights Cancer initiative, Avalanche coaches Joe Sacco and Tim Army, in addition to Altitude broadcasters and mascot Bernie, invited children from the Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation who have or are impacted by cancer to skate at Pepsi Center in a “Break the Ice” clinic. The clinic is designed for children with little or no skating experience the opportunity to receive free skating instruction.
