Milan Hejduk played in his 1,000th NHL regular season game on Feb. 4, 2013 against the Dallas Stars. He was honored before the game with a silver stick from the Colorado Avalanche organization, given by former teammate and now Executive Advisor Joe Sakic, and a Tiffany crystal from the National Hockey League, given by Senior Vice President of Hockey Operations Jim Gregory. Hejduk’s wife, Zlatuse, and two twin sons, Marek and David, joined him on the ice for the recognition ceremony.
