On December 20, the Colorado Avalanche brought smiles and holiday cheer to some very special children when they made their annual holiday visit to Children’s Hospital Colorado. Players, coaches and mascot Bernie visited patient rooms, distributed Bernie plush animals, signed autographs, took pictures with the children and their families and, most importantly, talked with the kids to help brighten their day. This visit marked the 15th year of this Avalanche tradition.
